14/03//2022 After a period of not I have returned to working in my sketchbook. These are the results.
Choice of subject due to something I did long ago In a Judge Anderson story that had things about it I thought would be entertaining to develop.
All done with ballpoint pens.
Looks fantastic, the biro gives a really different look than the inked Old Nick when it's shaded this way (almost like a pencil). Thanks for showing them.
thanks for the compliment.
The reason I like ballpoint pens is that they can do soft greys like a pencil as well as blacks like ink.
Plus, since I am not so disciplined as I once was, they offer more leeway for scribbling and corrections.
Absolutely amazing work Arthur. Thanks for sharing :)
Till i get this devil idea out of my system there are more to come.
All the best,
These are terrific, Arthur. I’ve seen some of the pieces from one of your older scrapbooks, and they are fascinating pieces.
Doing them has certainly kept me entertained.
